A leak, condensation, elevated humidity or incomplete drying can create conditions that support microbial growth. The planned assessment starts with what happened, when it happened and what areas can be safely accessed.
Field observations, photos, moisture readings, temperature and relative humidity are considered together. Sampling is proposed only when the result could change the interpretation or next step.
